Mit Permuted Identity erschafft der Hamburger Komponist Marc Pendzich ein Musikalbum der besonderen Art: Vier jeweils fünfminütige und bruchlos ineinander übergehende Musikwerke, die jeweilig bestimmte psychische Grundstimmungen verkörpern, prägen das Album:

switchback („Achterbahn der Gefühle“), unique („Mir kann niemand irgendetwas“), numb („betäubt, entfremdet“) und serendipity („glücklicher Zufall – bei sich sein“).

Wir reisen akustisch mit diversen Verkehrsmitteln durch Pendzichs Lebensraum Hamburg; zu Fuß/per U-Bahn, mit Inlineskates, per Fahrrad durch den alten Elbtunnel sowie im Auto zur Rushhour – und gleiten dabei musikalisch von Gefühlszustand zu Gefühlszustand – jeweils doppelt durchlebt sowohl als Original- als auch als Remix, welcher vertieft die Zwischentöne der Gefühlsstimmungen beleuchtet…
